ACN has created modifiers for particular specialities. The insurance coding modifiers whould be in BOX 24d on your CMS-1500.
-Modifier GN - Services by a speech therapist in outpatient
-Modifier
GO - Services by a occupational therapist in outpatient
-Modifier GP
- Services by a physical therapist in outpatient
All Medicare claims that are going through ACN (eg. Secure Horizons) must have the -AT modifier or it will be considered maintainance therapy.
